I couldn't take it anymore! I just had to know if we were expecting a boy or girl. I "thought" I wanted a baby girl and I just knew I was having a girl. On the way to the Dr. appointment on Friday, February 29 I thought, "If she tells me its a boy, I will cry!" I wasn't really even sure she would be able to tell yet. I was only 15 weeks 5 days. So, as soon as my dr walked in to the exam room, I asked, "Do you think we can tell if it's a boy or girl today?" She laughed and said, "Maybe". That was the first thing she scanned me for. As she scanned over the "private parts" she said, "Well, that's what we call the third leg, and little girls don't have those!" We're having a BOY! I was so happy! My first thought was, "Matt (our 9 yo son) will be soooo happy!" He wanted a brother! Never once was I disappointed we weren't having a girl. We were having a much wanted baby that happen to be a boy. As soon as I got to the elevator, I called Daddy to tell him he was having another son. He was shocked but so proud! I could here it in his voice. Two sons! On the way to pick Matt up from school I stopped at the party supply store to find a special way to tell Matt he was going to have a brother. I found some Hershey's kisses wrapped in baby blue foil. The little tag on the kisses said, "It's a Boy!" I put the bag of "boy kisses" in a baby blue gift bag and tied baby blue balloons to it. As Matt and I walked to the car, I told him I had something special for him. As soon as he saw the special gift, he smiled from ear to ear. He knew it meant he was getting his brother! The smile on his face was priceless! I will never forget it, ever!
